This feature, which is our oldest innovation (invented 2001), makes it possible to vary the size of the sound port. This is the natural way to "equalize" and pitch the bass tone and optimize it for the acoustic space that you´re occasionally playing in.
It´s very versatile both in acoustic unplugged situations and in all miced gigs from studiosessions to big arena gigs.
It also gives you the possibility to change the volume of the instrument.

This snare system is the perfect solution for thoose who wants the possibility to change the amount of snare buzz in the cajon sound.
A 40 string flexible snare is easily adjustable from the outside. The first edition of this feature is managed with a hex key (Allen) which is included and placed in a hole cloce to the adjustment screw. In our new edition the hex scerw is replaced by a knob which you push and twist til you get the sound you´re looking for.
The Adjustable Snare System has several steps of pressure to give maximum variety of sounds and when it´s turned off, the fixed snare system (custom & bigbox) takes over so you keep the snaresound in the treble sound.

This snare system creates a tight snappy snare sound wich is uniqe for Valter Percussion Cajons.
It is designed to be isolated to the treble/high-end sounds of the cajón. It leaves the bass sound dry and clean from snare buzz which is preferable according to many drummers and percussioinists and gives more "bass drum/snare drum feeling" to the instrument. The fixed snare system is as the name informs fixed and we have made it simple and safe - there´s no risk for broken strings starting to make unwanted niose. This snare don´t need any maintainance. It simply sound good as it is!

Our new built in microphone has become very popular since it delivers a great clean sound with all the bass you´ll ever need and brilliant crispy treble sounds with out any disturbing overtones.
The mic used is a dynamic 35mm capsule that is mounted in a special way which eliminates all unwanted boomy noices that are so comon in many other microphoned cajons. The sound port is covered with a protection/filter/air damper cloth that reduces unwanted overtones and compresses the sound. The result is a massive, tight, distinctive sound that has the deepest bass and the tightest treble that we ever have heard among cajons!!
And we´re happy that so many artists agree!
The mic is conected via the XLR/cannon socket in the back of the instrument and this makes it easy to plug it in directly to the stagebox/mixerbord or other sound devices as effect pedals if you want.
This system is optimal for thoose who like to use effects on the cajon since the cloth covering the hole reduces the risk for feedback as well.

The cushion is easily attached with Velcro strips and can be adjusted horizontally for optimal comfort.
