This mic system is the result of 8 years of experimentation and development. It can be built into the cajon or mounted with velcro straps onto the back of the cajon.
With the smart velcro mounting arm you can choose to put the mic inside our outside the cajon. Outside mounting will allways sound more natural but in some situations you might want to put it inside to get fatter, deeper bass and higher volume with out feedback. Closing the adjustable sound port or the bass hole cover plate you will get the deepest bass you've ever heard.
The mic is a cardoid electret capsule with linear frequenzy response and very high SPL which makes it possible to put it inside the cajon without distortion.
With our unique mid-tone absorber you will get a very natural sound even when putting the mic inside the cajon.
